Presbyterian Church at Franklin Lakes

PCFL's 2007 Heavenly Treasures

A Success !

The Presbyterian Church at Franklin Lakes began its 19th year of “Heavenly Treasures,” this past July 5th. This year's sale grossed over $25,000 for the mission and ministry of PCFL with the help of over 70 volunteers and countless donors and shoppers. Other congregations may have rummage sales, but according to Pastor Jack Lohr, “Heavenly Treasures, this year, was out of this world!”

Proceeds go to support the church’s ministries, including a free English as a second language program, special music, Faithworks and Adult Education, the PCFL Art Gallery, and various mission activities including Paterson Habitat for Humanity, Interreligious Fellowship for the Homeless in Bergen County, the Center For Food Action and other local ministries.

Many thanks go to church member Barbara Fernstrom of Kinnelon. This year she again, along with Ted Jadick, coordinated the volunteers, handled difficult pricing decisions, and spent hours each week organizing every detail of the sale.

Please look for next year's sale beginning July 7 (preview sale)!
